The platform distinguishes the following discount types:
Percentage Discount for a Customer
Percentage Discount for a Customer Group
Individual Price List for a Customer
Individual Price List for a Customer Group
Discount from Loyalty Points
Discount from Purchasing Bulk Packaging
Scenario: Percentage Discount for a Customer vs. Individual Price List for a Customer
a. If a customer's profile has a 50% discount applied to the entire assortment and an individual price list (covering the entire assortment) is also assigned to the customer, the system will ignore the percentage discount, regardless of whether the individual price list offers a better price than the 50% discount.
The individual price list takes priority over the percentage discount for a customer.
Discount values do not combine.
b. If a customer's profile has a 50% discount applied to the entire assortment and an individual price list defined for only 10% of the assortment, the system will:
Apply the percentage discount to the remaining 90% of the assortment (not covered by the individual price list).
Display the individual price list for the 10% of products that have specific pricing.
The individual price list coexists with the percentage discount for the customer.
Discount values do not combine.
Scenario: Individual Price List for a Customer Group vs. Individual Price List for a Customer
a. If a customer-specific individual price list (covering the entire assortment) is assigned directly to the customer and an individual price list for the Customer Group (covering the same products) is also assigned, the system will ignore the group price list, regardless of whether it offers better prices than the individual price list for the customer.
The customer’s individual price list takes priority over the group’s price list.
Discount values do not combine.
b. If a customer-specific individual price list is assigned for only three products (A, B, and C), and the customer group price list (which includes better prices) applies to products A, B, C, D, and E, the system will display:
Prices for products A, B, and C from the customer’s individual price list.
Prices for products D and E from the customer group price list.
In this case, the customer’s individual price list coexists with the group price list.
Discount values do not combine.
