The price list hierarchy is a key element in managing pricing offers on our B2B platform. It allows for flexible price adjustments tailored to different customers' needs, which is essential in today's dynamic business environment. Our platform offers a multi-level pricing system that enables precise targeting and sales optimization. This section outlines the principles of our price list hierarchy and explains how to manage it effectively.

1. Base Price

Base Price

  • Description: The standard price applied when no other price preferences are defined. Also referred to as the standard price or SRP (Suggested Retail Price).

  • Definition Process: Configured via the product catalog settings (Admin) or API.

  • Application: This price is displayed to customers who do not meet the criteria for any of the pricing levels listed below.

2. Discounted Prices

Our platform's pricing hierarchy is structured into key levels, ordered from the highest priority to the least important:

Individual Price for a Customer

  • Description: The highest priority price assigned to a specific customer. This solution allows for maximum customization of offers based on the particular needs and expectations of that customer.

  • Upload Process: Via CSV/XLSX file (Admin) or API.

  • Application: Used for key customers with whom unique trade conditions are negotiated. This mechanism allows for uploading individual prices for each (or selected) product defined on the platform.

Individual Price for a Customer Group

  • Description: Prices set for a specific group of customers, such as those from the same industry, market segment, or purchasing volume.

  • Upload Process: Via CSV/XLSX file (Admin) or API.

  • Application: Enables bulk price management and offer customization for a defined group of customers. It also allows individual prices to be uploaded for each (or selected) product on the platform.

Percentage Discount for a Customer

  • Description: A fixed percentage discount applied equally to all products in the assortment. This discount is calculated based on the base price (standard price/SRP).

  • Definition Process: Configured via the customer catalog settings (Admin) or API.

  • Application: Useful for customers who make frequent bulk purchases or have special requirements.

Percentage Discount for a Customer Group

  • Description: A fixed percentage discount applied equally to all products in the assortment for all customers within a given group. This discount is calculated based on the base price (standard price/SRP).

  • Definition Process: Configured via the customer group catalog settings (Admin) or API.

  • Application: Used to reward customer loyalty or encourage larger purchases within a selected group.

3. Discounts That Combine with Other Discounts

Bulk Packaging Discount

  • Description: Discounts granted for purchasing products in bulk packaging. The discount level depends on individual settings for each product. Each product can have a defined packaging quantity and a corresponding discount level.

  • Definition Process: Configured via the product catalog settings (Admin) or API.

  • Application: Encourages larger orders and optimizes logistics costs.

Loyalty Points Discount

  • Description: Customers can exchange accumulated loyalty points for discounts on purchases. The system automatically calculates the discount value based on available points and determines whether the products in the cart are eligible for discounts and to what extent.

  • Definition Process: Conditions for the loyalty program can be defined in the Marketing → Promotions section (Admin).

  • Application: Encourages customer loyalty and repeat purchases by rewarding them with redeemable points.
